12 Tenses Dalam Bahasa Inggris dengan contoh

1.Simple Present Tense
# S + V1 + s/es + Object/Adverb
Contoh:
                *Mrs. Anna sometimes  theaches English in the aftenoon.
                * Does he often come here with her?

2.Simple Past Tense
# S + V2 + Object/Adverb
Contoh:
                *They were not here yesterday
                *My mother always made her own dress when she was young.

3.Present Perfect Tense
# S + Has/Hve + V3 + Object/Adverb
Contoh:
                *She has just fhinished her homework.
                *Mr.Akimoto has lved in Japan for ten years

4.Present Continous Tense
# S + are/am/is + V1-ing + Object/Adverb
Contoh:
                *My Brothers are wacthing television will call us soon.
                *Sendy is writing a novel.

5.Present Future Tense
# S + Will/Shall + V1 + Object/Adverb
Contoh:
                *Our uncle will visit us next Sunday.
                *I am sure Vernanda will call us soon.

6.Past Continous Tense
# S + Was/Were + V-ing + Object/Adverb
Contoh:
                *My Sisters was Sleeping soundly.
                *It was getting colder.

7.Future Continous Tense
# S + Will/Shall + be + V1-ing + Object/Adverb
Contoh:
                *She will be helping Shania tomorrow
                *Will you be helping him do that work?



8.Present Perfect Continous Tense
# S + Has/Have + V1-ing + Object/Adverb
Contoh:
                *We have been waiting for him for six hours.
                * I have been looking for it all day.




9.Past Perfect Tense
# S +had + V3 + Object/Adverb
Contoh:
                *My uncle had been in the army for twenty years.
                *He had broken his leg in an accident.

10. Past Perfect Continous Tense
# S + had + been + V1-ing + Object/Adverb
Contoh:
                *We had been studying the homework
                *He had trying over again to salve the problem.

11.Present Future Perfect Tense
# S + Will/Shall + Have + V3 + Object/Adverb
Contoh:
                *We shall have got ome by the dinner time.
                *By the end this mounth, he will have finished the report.

12.Past Future Tense
# S + Should/Would + V1 + Object/Adverb
Contoh:
                *Would you like to have a cup of coffe?
                *She would be here now if you invited her.
